Meet Annie Dantowitz, LICSW
Annie Dantowitz is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 13 years of experience supporting youth and their caregivers navigating anxiety, OCD, and related disorders.
Specialization
Annie specializes in structured, evidence-based treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Approach to Care
By integrating caregiver support and training, Annie helps ensure the whole family is able to respond to anxiety and OCD effectively. She uses a strengths-based, systems approach to bridge communication and care among youth, caregivers, and key support networks, like schools and other healthcare providers.
Education

Professional Experience
Through advanced clinical training, direct practice, and supervisory roles at the Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program at Boston University’s Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD), Annie developed her own high clinical standards. At CARD, she served as the Group Work Director, creating, facilitating, and supervising group work. While at CARD, Annie helped design and deliver training and consultation for therapists doing pediatric CBT with exposure, as part of a large-scale research study for which she served as co-director of training and fidelity.
As the Associate Director of Training at InStride Health, Annie developed, facilitated, and disseminated clinical onboarding and ongoing training. Through that work, she was able to support the scaling of a large, multidisciplinary clinical team while maintaining high clinical standards.
The Why
Annie is passionate about the critical need for high-quality youth mental health treatment. She has built her career on a commitment to expanding access to evidence-based care through training, clinical supervision, consultation, school and community-based workshops, and dissemination-based research. She brings warmth, collaboration, and thoughtfulness to direct care and professional services.
